To make this coastal decor sand dollar frame, I hand painted a 5x7 wood frame using blue, white and green paints. Next, I glued one beautiful real, Oregon Sand Dollar directly on to the the glass. The final step was to seal the frame with varnish and I added a saw tooth hanger to the back. This frame would be beautiful displayed in any beach themed area of your home. It would also be lovely housewarming gift.
I love the idea of taking something that nobody wants and giving it a new life by recycling it. These frames made by hand using real sand dollars are just a little reminder of a special day at the beach for me every time I see them.
