I made this unique driftwood tree by refinishing an awesome old solid wood frame that rescued from a garage sale. It was stained brown and needed some love, but I loved the dimensions of it which are 28 X 17 inches. I already saw my tree image in it before I paid for it!! I hand sanded the dark wood stain off and chose a combination of white and gray for the exterior part of the frame. Next, I added the driftwood pieces one at time creating this awesome tree. Then, I hand painted it white. I call it, "Life Will Find A Way" because as you can see on the right, one tree is only a tree trunk with a broken branch coming out the side. However, as life does...A new tree began to grow from a different part of the trunk. I added some tree moss from local trees to give the tree even more life. I have also added two saw tooth hangers on the back for easy hanging. ** There is no glass in the frame** * The driftwood tree pictured is the exact one you will receive.
