I created this driftwood tree by selecting pieces of driftwood that I found at the beach in Oregon. I rescued an old frame from a garage sale knowing that it would one day be a great frame for a leafless driftwood tree. I sanded off the old paint and added a very thin layer white and sanded most of it off as well to create a cottage look to the finished frame. I have sealed it with two coats of varnish to bring out the amazing natural colors of the driftwood as well as for long lasting protection.
