Manzanita burl sculpture. This Manzanita burl was found along the Oregon Coastline. All the holes and even The small rock on the top are natural this Manzanita burl. I cleaned it up and sanded it, then applied varnish to The piece to bring out the dark red and browns as well as to protect the sculpture. The base is made from plywood which I hand painted black and red then wrapped in jute. It measures 18 inches high and 12 inches wide.
