This hanging brown bottle vase measures 9x3 inches and was made with a natural piece of tan driftwood and a square brown bottle with an opening of about 1/2 inch. The bottle can be removed for cleaning. A small vase like this is perfect for a small twig of pine to add a little holiday scent to a room, or a few small flowers to add color. I added a hanger to the back of the driftwood for hanging and wrapped the bottle neck in green jute to give it a more rustic look. This vase can be used as an air plant vase as well. I found the driftwood as well as the bottle on the Oregon Coast after a storm and both have been washed and allowed to dry in the sun before use. The brown bottle does show wear from being tossed around in the ocean. But I feel that It gives character. Much better than buying a new bottle. This flower vase would look great in cabins, beach houses, vacation rentals and anywhere you want to add a little color without taking up a lot of wall space.
