This handcrafted driftwood mirror features a unique starburst design that adds a touch of artistic elegance to any room. Crafted from organic materials, this mirror doubles as a sculptural mantel piece. Each piece is one-of-a-kind, making it a truly special addition to your home decor.
This beach inspired natural driftwood mirror measures 30x20x4 inches. All of the driftwood is completely natural in color and shape. I added a small shelf on the bottom of this one using a couple of naturally flattish driftwood pieces. It's perfect for a couple of small candles as shown in pictures. Even a small photo frame would be beautiful displayed on the shelf.
There are several ways in which to display this piece. I have had people use them on their fireplace mantel with stands of small lights around the driftwood pieces. It has also been used as a decoration in their fireplace when it not being used along with shells and other special beach finds. Some have it resting on a window ledge with their plants growing all through it. That's the beauty of a piece like this. It is unique and versatile just waiting for your imagination.
Each sculpture is created by me using hand selected driftwood pieces and attaching them one at a time with nails not glue for long lasting strength and durability.
All of the driftwood is collected by me one backpack full at a time then washed and allowed to dry naturally in the sun before use. I have also attached a wire hanger on the back of this mirror for easy hanging and adjusting.
I love making these driftwood mirrors because each one is uniquely different and I never know how they will turn out until the final piece of driftwood is attached. They are all one of a kind pieces, made one at a time, by me.
