This unique and rare driftwood sculpture is a natural piece of driftwood that I have stabilized and cleaned up then attached to a round, black wood base that I have wrapped in jute. This is a gorgeous driftwood branch that I found after a storm on the beach in Oregon. it took nearly a month to dry out. But when it was dry I sanded it to bring out the beautiful golden yellow and black colors. This piece was pretty spalted so it took a bit of work to stabilize, but this is the finished piece. I have sealed it with varnish for added protection and to bring out the awesome natural colors seen in this piece. This sculpture including the base measures approximately 22 x 7 inches.
