This rustic driftwood sculpture was made from a natural piece of Oregon driftwood. It is designed to hang up on the wall and measures approximately 32 x 4 inches. This piece is red brown in color and has natural holes and grooves throughout. To make this sculpture I first had to clean it and dry it in the sun. Next, I sanded it and varnished it to protect the driftwood as well as to bring out the beautiful, natural colors found in this piece of driftwood. Finally, I added the hanger on the back. I imagine air plants growing in and around it, or tiny lights on it adding character to the room.
